KlimaGødFød (GUDP)
Project goal: Create better climate- and environmentally friendly fertilisers by recycling organic biomass and acidifying them to enhance nitrogen retention and phosphorus availability, resulting in a more efficient fertiliser.

Project timeline: 2024-2027
Approach: The project develops acidified fertilisers to improve nutrient balance and tests precision techniques on crops such as onions, maize, and legumes, while examining the effectiveness of the acidified fertiliser.
Expected results: By 2027, KlimaGødFød is expected to provide methods that improve phosphorus use in crops by 15%, reduce leaching, and offer a less energy-intensive alternative to industrial fertilisers.
SkyClean’s contribution: Supplying biochar for field trials.
